New In!

First blog in a looong time.
Here are recent stuff I bought.

Top: Sam Edleman "Dahila" strappy sandals
I have this gladiator brown sandals that I bought like 3 years ago, and that's the last "legit" pair of sandals I have. So I knew I had to buy a new pair. I've been looking for a perfect pair since last summer. I'm very happy with this sandals. Of course it's leather, and I love the studs and stones on top.

Believe it or not, I think this is my first leopard anything! And I love this pair!! I was contemplating if I wanted a peep toe leopard or this pointed toe. But when I tried them on, I had to get 'em. It's so chic. I can wear them to work and pair them with knee-length black tight skirt. Or I can wear a pair of skinny jeans for a casual occasion and these pair will make the entire look chic. So versatile!

There's always a first time in everything.

Today, I went to surf!! Well, I attempted to surf.
One of my co-worker surfs, so he took me to the beach near-by, where all surfers enjoy surfing.

First of all, surfing starts EARLY in the morning.
I was up at 5 AM, and he picked me up at 5:30. After cleaning and preparing the surf board, and changing to a surf suit, we were there, Long Beach.

Tides were maybe bigger than to be appropriate for a beginner like me.
Today's purpose was to get used to the board, and to feel the waves and get used to them.
Water wasn't too cold, of course with surf suit on.

I did NOT get to stand on the board and surf today. What can I say, it's 1st day!!
I was trying to balance myself on the board, which I am having a HARD TIME! I really did not think just laying down on the surf board on my stomach was that difficult.
I used to swim, and let me tell ya, floating in the pool and in the ocean is totally different. I think that's what makes it so hard.

I'm going back out there again. I'm not done or given up yet. I think I liked it, even though I didn't get to really surf. I'm gonna be a surf girl!!

Movie night

I went to watch Transformer: Dark of the Moon, better known as Transformer 3.
Oh boy, it was SO LOOOOONG!! 2 hours and 40 minuets.
Was it good? Yeah I guess so. But I think it could've been better. When the series movie hits 3rd one, there's not a lot of things that surprise you.

And I was not too fond of Sam's girlfriend, played by Rosie Huntington-Whitely. I guess she played good for her 1st movie, but....I liked Megan Fox better. She's got some down-to-earth feelings, but this Rosie Victoria Secret model was simply a very hot chick.

Also it was my first time 3D movie experience. It was kind of cool. I liked it, but the movie was so dang long and the glasses started bothering me in the middle.
Although it says recycle the 3D glasses, I took 'em home. Ha!
