Missing....

Finally it's becoming more like winter in New York. All the Christmas lights in the town, Christmas songs on the radio, christmas parties to attend. Ugh.... gift shopping!!

We haven't had snow, except for that Nor'easter right after Sandy.

I miss summer so badly.
I'm looking forward to the next summer, already.

I started surfing this summer, so here are some pictures.
Starting something new is always exciting but it's something that I've always had problems with. I just need that push on my back so that I can actually start doing it.

I can't go back on the beach, on the surfboard again.
Summer 2013, let's make it a great one, yet.

Kitamura

I get so many compliments on this Kitamura bag every time I walk around the city with it.
This actually belongs to my mom. I stole it from her closet. Well she's not using it, so why west good bags, right?

I have no clue how old this bag is. I remember it though, I think I was with her when she bought it.

She's not a big fan of Louis Vuitton, Chanel, or Gucci bags. She loves good leather bags that are easy to use, and that she can use it every day at any occasions. I definitely have the same taste in bags. I'm not going to deny that I love all those brand bags.

Here's the link if you're interested!

Finally on my arm....

Isn't this the best or what?
I've been wanting this Michael Kors watch for years now. I don't know why I waited for so long.
Amazingly, this was on sale on net-a-porter. Lucky me!!

A Walk in the.... Wilderness

Last Sunday I went to take a walk in the park by my house.
t's actually a HUGE park. I took a de-tour and went into the wood. There are tracks and there're many people walking, jogging, even doing the horse back riding!!

It was great. I walked about an hour or so.
I found railroad that's been closed and not been used. Reminded me of the movie, "Stand By Me."

New Hobby

I'm surprised myself that I even thought about baking.
Last time I baked was a few years ago, and I totally failed. I was trying to bake chocolate chip cookies, and it turned out to be like....bread. So I was like, ok this isn't for me, I'm not a baking person.

This year, my friend came over for Thanksgiving. I'm an Asian, not born in the States, so I'm sort of whatever about Thanksgiving. We just decided to get together for fun times.
I decided to make cranberry sauce, and some other stuff. I bought 2 bags of fresh cranberries. I cooked 1 bag and had another bag left in the fridge.

That's when I started to think.... What else can I make with fresh cranberries? I went online and start looking for some recipes using cranberries.

Pictures are the result. Cranberry scones.
They have fresh cranberries, of course, and walnuts and orange zest. It's quite tasty!

So, the baking is becoming my next hobby, I'd have to say.
I'm a sucker for dark chocolate. My next baking is going to be chocolate scones!!
